Web Design Helper is a small web design company based in the north of England providing website design, hosting and implementation. Setup in 2001, they have a good track record of delivering solutions to their clients in different countries.

Challenges

The web design industry is extremely competitive to say the least. We had to find a area of web design which would generate a large enough volume of visitors in a reasonable time period, whilst still ranking medium to long term for more difficult search terms. Looking at partnerships and joint ventures within their industry also meant developing further ways to monetize the website.

Solutions

The EHLOnline.co.uk UK SEO team took the bull by the horns and started by implementing an extensive keyword analysis of the web design marketing arena. The aim of our research was to find competitive areas which had the potential to be exploited. Once the research was complete and we were clear on a road map, our copywriters made sure that the relevant pages had the keyword dense text. The HTML code was also check for compliance. Finally a link campaign strategy was put in place and allowed to run for a period of 6-12 months until growth became organic.

Results

Starting in February 2005, our highly focused campaign ended in January of 2006 increasing Web Design Helpers search engine results position from not at all being found to position No.1 in Google for the term "web design help" with 36,200,000 competing pages.
